Using a Varied Workout For Building six packs
When building a six pack you will eventually come across the point where your abdominal muscles stop responding to your workouts. This is because they become accustom to the workout and it is time to start mixing things up. After a while your abdominal muscles will simply be used to the exercises you are doing and they will not respond anymore. At this point you need to do something different to continue to work out your muscles.
Changing your routine can involve a few different steps. You can up the intensity or create a whole new routine. You may want to try something new or different that will challenge both you and your body. The thing is that when your body starts to not respond to the exercise you are probably not excited by them anymore either. It is time for a change or you could end up starting to slack off and that will never help you to reach your goal.
You will usually be able to easily tell when your body stops responding to your exercise routine. You will start to not feel the workout as much and you will stop seeing improvements. Your weight may plateau and you may start to feel bored with the workout. It may happen gradually or one day you may just realize it. You will then know it is the time for change.
There are many ways to vary your workout. If you always workout in the gym, move it to outside. Try something new that you have never done before. Learn some new abdominal exercises by taking a couple classes. Experiment with different things so you can find something that challenges you. Better yet, don not ever fall into a routine, always add in new things and keep your routine varied. You will find that you never do reach that plateau if you always keep things changing.
By varying your workout you will keep your mind and body excited and pumped about working out. Your body will respond better and you will feel less like quitting. If you ignore the signals that your body is not responding then you will find yourself stuck and never end up reaching your goal of six pack abs.
